Parent Committees and Room Parents
All parents are members of the Parent Teacher Organizations, or PTO, when they enroll their child at Saints Peter and Paul School. Through their participation within the school community, volunteering in the classroom or with school fundraisers and events, parents enjoy greater connection to the school and build long-time friendships with other parents. Throughout the year, committees are formed for parents to volunteer their help with fundraisers, events, and school activities. Important events and activities are planned, and information is dispersed through the weekly school bulletin or at the general PTO meetings held four times through out the year for all parents to attend.
Mission Statement
The Saints Peter and Paul Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the school’s philosophy, programs and activities for the benefit of all Saints Peter and Paul School students. The PTO facilitates communication and parent education as well as encourages and coordinates volunteerism. The PTO fosters a spirit of inclusion, partnership and cooperation among the entire school community.
All parents become important members of the PTO the moment their child is enrolled into Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School. Each parent is entitled to the benefits of membership: greater connection and involvement, new-found friendships, and increased pride in our school.
General PTO Meetings for all Parents
General PTO meeting are held four times throughout the school year. Each family is asked to have at least one parent represented at every meeting so you are aware of what is going on in the school, upcoming events, and family activities.
