The Student Council at Saints Peter and Paul School consists of a group of students in grades 6-8 who have been designated by their peers and their teachers as leaders in the school. The Student Council representatives work together to promote school spirit in the school, organize all-school and grade-level activities, and most importantly facilitate programs and projects that promote service.
The Student Council is dedicated to providing opportunities for the students and staff at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School to serve the school, local, and global communities. Some of our past service projects have included: Food Drive, Holiday Toy Drive, Holiday Dinners for Needy Families, Soldiers Care-Package drive, School Supply Drive, and more.
Elections are held in the spring, with speeches, campaigning and voting. Student leaders meet biweekly with faculty advisors to plan and oversee matters including school governance, spirit and community building, religious celebrations, fund-raising and school ambassadorship and outreach.
